New Patients at Alkimos Beach Dental Centre
We look forward to welcoming you to Alkimos Beach Dental Centre. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff is always ready to answer any questions to help make your appointment as pleasant and stress-free as possible. We suggest you arrive 10 minutes early for your first visit, giving you sufficient time to complete your new patient paperwork.
What to Expect at Your Checkup and Clean
When you arrive, you’ll be warmly greeted by our front desk team. They’ll help you with any paperwork, and then you’ll be shown to your exam room. We’ll perform a thorough examination, including intraoral photos and/or X-rays, as needed. For your teeth cleaning, you can request the Airflow® cleaning technology, which is a much more comfortable cleaning process than the traditional method (although some people still prefer this way!).
Your dentist will let you know if they find any problems that require further treatment. They’ll explain what they recommend and will usually provide several treatment options.
Scheduling Further Treatments
Before you leave after your checkup and clean, our reception staff will book you in for the services you have decided on. We’ll be able to give you a cost estimate at that time so you know how much your treatments will cost.
Making Care Affordable
We believe in quality, accessible, affordable dental care for the entire family. Our staff has decades of experience and knowledge and will work with you to find the best options for your unique situation. We’ll help you determine if you’re eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule or the National Dental Plan, we can help you access payment plans like Afterpay and ZipPay, and we offer in-house financing for some longer-term treatments, such as Invisalign clear aligners.
We also accept Humm and SuperCare, and we’re a preferred provider with Medibank, HCF, NIB and HBF.
